This event will feature three local organizations and professionals who have implemented a variety of innovative, cutting edge, impactful programs.  Similar to the world-famous TED talks, each presenter will share their best practice within 20 minutes to share their program and results.

  The Leadership Roundtable: Informal Group Learning
 
Organization: Broward County Human Resources, Learning and Development
 
How do organizations respond to the challenge of providing management level training in today’s busy environment? By creating small learning groups and empowering members to choose both learning topics and methods.  This informal learning forum provides managers with an alternative developmental opportunity and creates opportunities for professional connections across the organization.

   Broward County received top honors as the Gold Award winner at the Champions of Learning Event in 2013.

 

Presenter: Mona Gordon has over twenty years experience training and coaching leaders in companies such as Vacation Break USA, General Rent A Car, Nova Southeastern University, and AT&T. In the past six years at Broward County, Mona has served as the manager of the Facilitation Skills Training program and oversees the Broward County internal facilitation team. Her specialty is management development and she provides training both in the classroom and through online resources.

Presenter: Rula Sater  has over ten years in leadership development, organizational development and business coaching, Rula began Metamorphosis Coaching and Consulting as way to help individuals break down long standing obstacles, understand how to apply and use their leadership potential and move in the direction of their desires.
In addition to her work at Metamorphosis Coaching and Consulting, Rula manages organizational development and training at Miami Children’s Hospital. Recognized by Training Magazine as a ‘Top 40 Trainer Under 40’ in North America, Rula is a certified life coach. She holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She holds a certificate in Coaching from the prestigious Couch U and she is Masters certified as a Neurolinguistic Program Practitioner.

Presenter: Marla Noble is the Senior Director of Global Learning and Development for Citrix.  Marla’s team is responsible for executive, leadership, management and professional/business development for the worldwide Citrix employee population.  She has 20+ years of experience delivering innovative learning, OD and performance management practices across multiple industries.  Across her career Marla has been instrumental in the implementation of global learning and performance management systems, spearheaded numerous learning and OD initiatives across all levels, created and implemented companywide competency structures, executive development programs, management growth and development initiatives, and values and leadership platforms.
