Demystifying Video Creation for Your E-Learning Projects

Demystify the basics of how you can, too, shoot videos for your next e-learning course with these cutting edge techniques!

Not only you will learn the basics, but also you will hear tips on when to choose outsourcing versus your own production of videos.

Today, organizations of all sizes are using videos both internally to train and motivate their employees, as well as externally to train their customers on how to best use their products and services. Maturing technological trends coupled with a demand for more “authentic” and “human” learning interventions is driving increased usage of videos in e-learning courseware.

Do not miss out on the opportunity to keep current with these new trends! From computer screencasts to employee how-to instructional videos, you too can leverage this technology to shorten development times and ensure your learners “get it”.

This session will be valuable for you to...

1.    Understand practical tips on identifying quality videos

2.    Describe basic tools available for creating videos for your e-learning courses.

3.    Recognize some of the legal roadblocks to using YouTube, Vimeo, and other online videos.

4.    Recognize when you should consider outsourcing your video production.

If you’ve debated using video as an instructional strategy, but backed away because you just feel like you are missing the technological “chops” to get it done- this session is for you!
