Design, Develop & Author eLearning

eLearning is an essential option for every training strategy. Training professionals can no longer watch the eLearning process, but must become an essential part of the process in order to achieve a specific learning goal or objective.

Authoring tools are a great starting point for eLearning but programs built solely with eLearning authoring tools tend to get repetitious – the same kinds of interactions followed by the same kinds of exams followed by the same looking characters and icons.  During this session, you'll learn about additional tools that can make your eLearning extraordinary.  Animation tools, video editing tools, graphic design tools, digital cameras and videos all bring additional ways for your students to learn. Whether you are new to eLearning, or have been using authoring tools for years, this session will provide you with new ideas to enhance your eLearning.

It’s time to get creative and go beyond what you can do with your authoring tools!

At the conclusion of this session, you will be able to:

  1. Incorporate an effective model for eLearning design  and development into your current instructional design process.
  2. Identify the three software components necessary for successful eLearning authoring
  3. Describe the primary features for two of the most popular eLearning authoring tools available
  4. Leverage additional software development tools, like Photoshop and Animate, and integrate these additional graphic and multimedia pieces into your authoring tool
