The Recognition--Performance Link

Everyone likes to be recognized and appreciated. But how many supervisors and managers consider “appreciating others” part of their job description?   Managers and Supervisors today are doing more with less, as a result they are often too removed from their employees to notice when they have done exceptional work or to thank them for it.

Recognition and performance are closely linked. Managers can utilize recognition is that it has a low / no cost with measurable, positive impact on the job performance.  Ultimately, this will improve the level of service your customers receive.

Learn what you can do to improve both employee performance and customer service.

After the program you will be able to:

  • Define effective recognition and how it benefits managers/supervisors, employees and customers
  • Administer a reality check (is it an employer’s market?)
  • Review proven motivational strategies
  • Identify the “Recognition-Performance Link”
  • Discuss Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Evaluation in relation to measuring the impact of employee recognition
