Program:
Rosemarie Taylor, Ed.D., Director of Education and Development for the Jackson Health System in Miami-Dade County. She will focus on understanding the differences in cultural values and beliefs and how those differences affect workplace behavior and productivity. You will learn how to set training and OD goals for cultural competence and how to find resources for training specialists and quality managers.
Speaker:
Dr. Taylor has been involved with culture-related training and development for more than 20 years and conducted her doctoral dissertation on cultural competence. She has authored numerous articles on culture for national peer-reviewed journals and is a sought-after presenter and national and local conferences. She serves as a resource for various government agencies such as the U.S Department of Health and Human Services.
