This presentation will discuss wiki technology and how it can be implemented as part of a blended learning strategy. It will briefly cover the history of the technology, it uses, and how/when learning professionals can deploy it properly to increase learning throughout their organization.
The presenter will also cover SaaS vs. internally hosted options for deploying the technology, and give an overview of the market for corporate wikis and vendors in this space.
The presentation will be practical and all attendees will receive a job aid.

Alex is a senior human resources and training executive with over 17 years of progressive experience. Alex's work in private industry has focused heavily on the development of learning systems that transform employee performance for ordinary, to remarkable. Alex's expertise lied in building systems that support and reward service excellent at every level of the organization. He accomplished this by combining organizational development strategies and tactics to blended learning programs with line of sight alignment to clearly defined performance goals.
He earned his Master of Science in Instruction Systems from The Florida State University, and his Master of Business Administration from The University of Miami. In addition, he holds the coveted Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Capital Institute. Alex as developed courses for use by the U.S. Navy, CSX Transportation, Visa International, Ocean Bank, Fontainebleau Resorts, and the Ritter Academy. Currently he is a managing member of Collabor8 Learning.
