Who is Rachel Horwitz, HR Director, Organizational Effectiveness and Strategy, Princess Cruises?

Rachel is a forward thinking leader, experienced in medical technologies, CPG, and beauty brands. She drives new business and talent strategies by providing top-tier learning experiences. In addition to her expertise in Instructional Design, Learning management system integration, and operations, she has been a human resources business partner for commercial, corporate and operations functions. She loves to work with her team and peers to provide meaningful impact in learning, communication, and change leadership.

Q:  Tell us about a work project that you’re absolutely crushing and are super proud of right now!

Rachel: I was recently certified in DISC and I’m excited to bring this tool to client group teams and even my HR team. My fabulous direct reports are supporting me in this and will help facilitate. 

Q:  What sparks your creativity and gets your energy flowing? Who or what inspires you to reach new heights

Rachel: I love brainstorming with others. Identifying a problem and facilitating with a group of people to come up with ideas, and choose short, medium and long term initiatives to implement.

Q: When you’re not transforming lives, what do you love doing for fun that brings you joy?

Rachel: Crossfit and weight lifting

Q: What makes South Florida special to you?

Rachel: I live in Parkland and love the people!
