ATD South Florida recognizes that life brings unexpected challenges โ job transitions, economic hardship, and difficult seasons are part of every professional's journey. No one should be excluded from our community because of their financial situation.
That's why we offer a free, six-month membership for those experiencing financial hardship. This gives you full access to ATDSFL programming, networking, mentorship, the CPTD study group, job board, and community โ at no cost to you during your time of need.
Your application is held in complete confidence and reviewed only by select members of the Board of Directors. The rest of the community will never know you applied.
A simple, private process โ from application to membership in just a few steps.
Complete the short Google Form application. It takes about 5 minutes and asks only what's needed to review your request.
A small group of select Board members reviews your application in private. Your information is never shared beyond this group.
The Board responds to your application promptly. If approved, you'll receive instructions to activate your complimentary membership.
Your 6-month membership is active. Attend events, access resources, and be part of the community โ no cost, no conditions.

The hardship membership is a free six-month membership. At the end of the six months, you're welcome to renew at the standard rate, apply again if your situation has not changed, or let it lapse โ no pressure either way.
Everything a standard Professional membership includes โ event discounts, CPTD study group, mentorship program, job board access, networking events, and volunteer opportunities. You're a full member in every way.
Only a small, select group of Board of Directors members sees your application. It is not shared with the broader board, volunteers, event staff, or any other members of the chapter.
The Board reviews applications as promptly as possible. You can expect a response within a few business days of submitting your application. If you haven't heard back within a week, feel free to follow up at membership@atdsfl.org.
Yes. This program is open to talent development professionals in the broader South Florida community โ not just existing members. If you're in the L&D field and experiencing hardship, you're welcome to apply.
